When your trial or demonstration is complete, follow these steps to safely power down and prepare the BRNKL Black Portable - NATO for transport or return.
Power-Off Procedure

Disconnect the BBP from the vessel's NMEA 2000 backbone.

Disconnect the BBP from other I/O (if connected).

If a POE camera is connected, unplug the Ethernet cable.

Power off the unit by disconnecting its power source.
Disconnecting and Securing Cables

Coil all external cables neatly and cap ports.

Remove the GPS antenna and store it in the case.
-
Disconnect any internal power bank and secure it separately (do not ship inside the case). Do not remove the Velcro straps.
Preparing for Transport

Place all accessories (antennas, cables, adapters, camera if included) in the case.

Insert the expanding foam insert.
-
Close and latch the case securely.
-
Place the case back inside the original shipping carton.

Seal the carton for storage or return shipping.
Return Shipping Notes

Retain the original carton and foam insert for future returns.

Do not ship the unit with an internal power bank installed (lithium shipping restrictions).
