Add Simrad / Lowrance camera

This page covers the device-specific steps for Simrad and Lowrance cameras. For general prerequisites, MFD network setup, and recommended stream settings, see Add camera.

Overview

BRNKL supports video feeds from the following Simrad / Lowrance cameras:

  • Simrad IP CAM-1

  • Lowrance IP CAM-1

These cameras don't support ONVIF, so they won't appear in BRNKL's auto-discovery list. They must be added manually using an RTSP URL.

Install camera

  1. Mount the camera according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Connect the camera to the vessel's IP network.

  3. Ensure the camera is powered on during configuration.
